LETTING
AGREEMENT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please take time to read this page carefully. If you do make a booking
you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions.
- Our contract will be in place, when I
have confirmed your booking by letter or email.
- I will hold a provisional reservation for a
maximum of 5 days, until I receive your deposit, when I will confirm.
- The completed booking form, with £100
non-returnable deposit is due for each week or break booked.
- The balance is due 28 days before your holiday
begins. No reminders will be sent.
- For a booking made within 4 weeks of your stay
- the full amount is payable.
- Payments can be made by cheque, to Susan Beck.
- By Credit Card - there is a charge of 2.5%
which goes some way to cover card costs.
- By Switch/Maestro/Debit card - no charges.
(Sorry we can not accept American Express & Diners.)
- In case of cancellation, I shall do all I can
to re-let the cottage, if this is possible I shall return the balance.
However if I am unable to re-let the cottage, the full rent will be
forfeited.
- Please note the cottages are all non-smoking
areas.
- Bed linen, towels, 2 hand towels, tea-towels,
a bathmat, cleaning and washing-up liquid, kitchen roll, cling-film,
baking foil and a loo roll are always provided.
- A cot with duvet and linen, and high chair,
can be hired for £15.
- Coal, kindling, paper and matches for the
sitting room fire; and up to £10 of electricity and oil are included in the rent. I read the meters at
the beginning and end of your stay. Extra usage is as ever charged at cost.
- Broadband Internet access is also included.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in West
Cottage. There is a charge of £10 per dog.
- But as part of the letting agreement – we do
ask that you are responsible and very considerate…..
- Keeping them under control at all times.
- Not allowing them to go on the furniture or
upstairs.
- Not leaving them unattended in the cottage
- That you clean up behind them both inside and
out, so no trace remains.
- Please let me know about any damage or
breakages, as soon as possible. We do understand about life's little
accidents, but ultimately you are responsible for the property and its
contents during the period of your stay. We will always try to put
things right with the least cost and inconvenience to you.
- Arrival time is 4pm, unless other wise
arranged - through to a prompt departure time of 10am, please! This is
crucial for me to get the cleaning done!
- The cottages are
thoroughly cleaned between lets, but because time is so limited, we ask,
as part of this booking agreement, that you leave your cottage as clean
and tidy as possible. This is always greatly appreciated!
