Weekly Stays

Most bookings run on a weekly basis, offering the best value and flexibility for guests exploring the Scottish Borders. However, we can be more flexible with shorter breaks in the farm cottages, minimum stay 3 nights.

Millsyde Short Breaks (3–5 Nights)

Short breaks at Millsyde are generally available only at very short notice, or if there is a gap between longer bookings. Friday is our preferred arrival day for Millsyde, although we will always try to accommodate alternative arrangements where possible.

Couple’s Discount

A Couple’s Discount will be automatically applied when only one bedroom and one bathroom are to be used during your stay, making our larger cottage accommodation ideal for two guests seeking extra space and comfort.

There are no hidden extras, unless you bring your dog. £25/dog/stay.

Payment & Booking Terms

Booking direct through our secure online system is simple and safe.

• A 25% non-refundable deposit is required when booking.
• The remaining balance is due 28 days before arrival.
• During the booking process you will be guided through availability, pricing, and our booking terms and conditions.

Bank transfer is our preferred payment method, although alternative payment options are available.

Arrival & Departure

• Check-in: From 4:00 pm
• Check-out: By 10:00 am
• Alternative times may occasionally be arranged in advance.

Bringing Your Dog?

Well behaved dogs are welcome. £25 per dog per stay. Please read and follow our Terms & Conditions – Hendersyde Farm Cottages

Grocery Deliveries

Kelso offers excellent independent shops and supermarkets, but if you would prefer groceries waiting for your arrival, supermarket deliveries can be arranged. Simply use our postcode:  TD5 7QA

Please let us know in advance, so we can be available to receive and unpack your delivery before you arrive.

E-Bike Hire at Hendersyde

Explore miles of quiet country roads, riverside routes, and scenic trails with e-bike hire service. With up to 70 miles of pedal-assisted range, you’ll have the freedom to discover more of the Scottish Borders with ease.

Electric & Hybrid Vehicles

If you are travelling with an electric or hybrid vehicle, please let us know before arrival. While charging is not available at the cottages, we will be happy to recommend convenient local charging points in Kelso.
